Tried to fill the submit application form but had to filled all mandatory fields (youtube link and so on) which i don't have yet. Would have been nice to publish incomplete info just to get a chance to see what are the other working on.

Brandon K,
Are government agencies allowed to enter this competition? Unless you define govt as non-profit, I can't seem to find a direct answer to this question.
Thanks!

Thanks for writing Joric, government agencies are indeed allowed to enter under the Large Organization Recognition Award which has no cash prize. We very much look forward to seeing your submission(s).

data sets that show sick buildings and homes with furnace and boilers
is what ?
Clemens Ott • about 13 years ago
The app has to use at least one of the data sets of the world bank, that is clear to me. A group internal discussion has started over the importance of innovative ICT in the e-government and administration area to support the achievement of the MDG's. I say it is rather important. Am I correct that this topic is subject of this competition ?

Hi H20
Thanks for the question. We are excited to see what you come up with. We share your enthusiasm for the use of innovative ICT, especially in the creation of apps which invite the public to provide performance feedback. The competition welcomes apps which support e-government. However, the competition also encourages apps which could raise general awareness of the MDGs. We're interested in seeing the full range of what could be possible when using the World Bank Data Catalog around MDG's.
Hope that answers your question, please post back if I can further explain.
